Hiking Trails on Oahu.
If you like to hike, Oahu has some beautiful trails. You
should
be very careful however, remember, its a jungle out there and a few
visitors have been lost and not recovered in the past. So, stay on
the trails, follow posted warnings and hike with a partner.

Novice
Manoa Falls. The trail is .8 mile long.
It has
a waterfall, footbridge and stream. For information call

Intermediate
- Diamond Head State Park. The trail is .7
miles
long. It has two staircases each of which is 175 steps. It also has
a dark tunnel so bring a flashlight. Once at the top you will have
a panoramic view of Honolulu and Waikiki Beach. For information

Sacred Falls State Park. The trail is 4.5
miles
round-trip. It has the 80 foot Kaliuwa'a waterfall, swinning hole

Intermediate to Advanced

Manoa Cliffs. The trail is 3.4 miles
long. It
is one of 17 tropical jungle trails in the area. The trails cover
Manoa, Pauoa Valleys and Tantalus Crater. For information call

Advanced
Kuliouou Ridge This trail is 2.9 miles long.
Its highlight is the Kuliouou Valley, breathtaking views and some

Maunawili Demonstration. This trail is 9 mile
long. The highlights are Mr. Olomana and the native forest. For
