Ceremony

Na ke aloha i kono e hui ÿolua e.

Love has made a plea that you two become united.

The ceremony begins with the blowing of the pü (conch shell) to assemble and announce the arrival of the bride. The mea oli (chanter) will then proceed to oli (chant) the bride into her position. The Kahu (minister) will then officially begin the ceremony, with traditional wedding vows or something that has been created especially for the exchange of vows. Once vows are completed, the pü will sound and the ceremony will end with the mea oli.

The ceremony location offers the exclusive use of the Old Lähaina Lüÿau grounds situated in a tropical, oceanfront setting, in historic Lähaina, Mauÿi. The ceremony includes an exchange of special flower lei for the bride and groom presented in a souvenir wooden bowl. The bride will have a choice of a tropical bouquet or lei poÿo (lei worn on the head). Following the ceremony, a tray of Mai Tai’s or Fruit Punch will be served.

Champagne Service

You may choose to celebrate your special occasion with a toast of chilled champagne.

Champagne set-up for two starts at $75 and includes; table, linen, one bottle of champagne, silver bucket, and stem ware.

Wedding Cakes

Complete your special day with a decorative and delicious wedding cake. We can create any cake you desire. Please inquire about flavors and styles. Wedding cakes start at $55 and includes; table, linen, plates, forks and napkins.

Photography & Videography

Capture the romance and memories of your special day with our experienced, professional photographers and videographers. Wedding photography packages start at $325 and all photography packages include a wedding album. Wedding videography packages start at $495 and includes name titles; Maui scenic segments, and edited Hawaiian music.

Entertainment

You may choose to have the award-winning Old Lähaina Lüÿau entertainers

compliment your ceremony. A Hawaiian Guitarist or Ukulele performer starts at $175 and a Hula Dancer starts at $125.

Terms & Conditions

We strive to do all we can to exceed our guests exceptions. Please speak with our friendly and knowledgeable wedding coordinators regarding any changes or additions to your wedding arrangements.

• Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of $250 made payable to Hoaloha Productions. Hoaloha Productions is the parent company of Traditional Hawaiian Weddings.

• Upon receipt of your deposit and order form, we will send you a confirmation.

• A credit card guarantee is needed to hold your reservation. Forms of payment accepted are VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and traveler’s checks.

• Final payment is due 30 days prior to your scheduled wedding date.

• Cancellations or changes to your wedding package are acceptable up until 30 days prior to your wedding date. Cancellations within 30 days will be a full charge.

• If final payment is not received within 30 days of your wedding, the undersign authorizes that Traditional Hawaiian Weddings charge the remaining balance on the credit card used to hold the reservation.

• By forwarding your reservation, both the Bride and Groom have read and agree to the terms and conditions above. Any changes shall be in writing and agreed to by both parties. Signatures below shall also serve as permission for all credit card orders be considered authorization for use of credit card with Hoaloha Productions.
