Comments about the Hawaiian Isle Adventure Tour

Aloha from the Midwest, We just returned from Hawaii and immediately wanted to click on and say just how wonderful the Adventure Tour was. It was easily one of the highlights of the entire trip and your tourist industry's best kept secret. Wow. We would like to especially thank our guides, Darron and Gary. They were very knowledgeable and courteous.

We had a 7 and a 73-year-old in our group and these guys couldn't have been nicer. The rain forest hike and waterfall swim was great and we learned a lot. My son will have a definite advantage when class learns about the rain forest. The beaches for snorkeling and boogie boarding were incredible.

Lunch at a "local" stop was also great. We were truly spoiled. For all who may read this on the internet we highly recommend this tour. We went on at least ten tours and this was by far the best in terms of guides, information, activities. Also, as we plan more things via the Internet on our vacations, some things are not the same as mentioned on-line.

This tour should set the standard - it was better! We confidently recommend this tour.

We wanted to write a short note to let GARY and everyone at HIA what a smashing fun day we had!!! We took the tour Friday April 5, the first day of our trip! WOW what a way to start off the week. We definitely agree that this was the highlight of our trip. Gary so awesome!!! He was fun, informative and very cautious of everyone's safety. (Not one person performed the Hulimakaflip? that day!!!) We loved every part of the tour.

We even enjoyed swimming with that SHARK (I had total faith in Gary that he wouldn't bite my leg off)!! We have recommended this tour to everyone we've told about our trip.

My girlfriend & I had such a great time during the tour! Each stop we made was an adventure on it's own. Our tour guide, Kapena, did an excellent job...we left the tour feeling a little more educated about the island, it's history & it's wild life. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oah'u! We even heard that on the tour with us was a small group that came along for their 2nd time, just cause they enjoyed it so much the first time.

I have been wanting let you know how much my husband and I enjoyed your adventure tour. We were took it on Dec 7. It was the greatest. The smaller groups gave us all more time to get to know each other as well as our guides. We had a really nice bunch of people with us. Ernie, our guide, was fantastic. His approach to things was so much less commercialized than other tours we have heard about since. Especially the chance to actually participate. I never thought I would ever try the snorkeling (neither did my husband) but it was fun. The waterfall was beautiful. Even with a little rain on our trip (I told Ernie it was somewhat appropriate that it was raining as we climbed through the rainforest to the waterfall) it didn't put a damper on anything. The beaches for the snorkeling and boogie boarding were breath-taking. The plate lunch was one of the best meals of our vacation.

I have told so many people about our adventure. It is just about the first thing I tell people about our trip to Hawaii. Two are planning on trips sometime in the near future and are definitely putting it on their list. Some others have been to Hawaii and are really disappointed hearing what they missed. I am giving a copy of your web site to someone I met recently. She had actually been in Hawaii just about the same dates we were, small world- she even stayed at the same hotel. When we started comparing notes and I told her about your adventure tour she was really upset to have missed it. She said this is the type of experience she looks for. She isn't sure when she will get a chance to get back herself but her husband will probably return on a business trip. She is giving him the information so he doesn't miss it next time.

Keep running your tours the way you are. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. If I ever get the chance to get back I would want to do it all over again.

Hi!!,
I've been on a recent tour with Hawaiian Isle Adventures and we loved it. Being from Dallas, we can't enjoy the scenery or have the same kind or air quality( not to mention the aloha spirit bestowed upon us by the guides of the tour). It was especially nice when the guide explained about the various stops along the tour. We didn't get a chance to get his name but he was very knowlegable and helpful throughout the tour.

We've been on many tours and a majority of them was either boring or we were being rushed throughout the tour. I just wanted to take the time to commend the staff of Hawaiian Isle Adventures for their professionalism and courtesy. We will definitely recommend our friends and family to take the tour on their yearly visits to Hawaii. All in all, we had a terrific time and will definitely return to the beautiful islands of Hawaii in the near future.

Aloha! We would like to thank you for your participation in one of the highlights of our recent trip to Oahu. This was TRULY a memorable experience for all of us.

P.S. I, Pam, would like to send a personal mahalo to Darren for being very patient and helpful when we went snorkeling and bodyboarding. Even though I didn't go all the way out.. I did get over my fear of putting my face in the water.

P.S.S. We'd also like to thank Gary for driving us around safely and for the extra "kakua" when we needed it which was pretty much all the time.

Oahu Adventure Tour

We just wanted to thank you for one of the best experiences we had on Oahu. Taking this tour was the smartest thing we could have done. Our guides, Daniel and Gary, were informative and entertaining. It was a satisfying time well worth the meager fee. After landing in Oahu, and seeing the big city of Honolulu, we were sort of disappointed, not wanting a city, but what we had in our minds that Hawaii "should be".

Thanks to Daniel and Gary we found that Ideal Hawaii. They taught us things about the plants in the rainforest, and pointed out landmarks as we drove by them. The tour that they put on was well timed to cooincide with the landmarks we passed, and the places we went were private enough that everyone was able to enjoy them. We cannot stop bragging about this to everyone, as we had a great time. Thank you for providing exactly what we came to Hawaii for.

i took your tour on tues. june 29th with my parents. the day we took the tour was the best day of our trip. our guide's name was kaui and he was perfect!!! the only bad thing that happened was a lady on our tour slipped and broke her hand. kaui had to take her to the hospital. he remained calm and responsible. not only was he informative and fun, but he was very HOT!!! i remember this day forever.
